Her solo cabaret Crying Contralto has been developed across seasons at Sydney Fringe, Adelaide Fringe and Newcastle Fringe, and was shortlisted for Best in Cabaret & Musical Theatre at Sydney Fringe 2025. Alison was also nominated for Artistic Merit at Newcastle Fringe 2026.
Her new work CARE INSTRUCTIONS, a bouffon satire exploring systems of care and human connection, was shortlisted for Best in Theatre at Sydney Fringe 2026.
Alongside her independent performance practice, Alison has worked professionally in clown and character performance for more than a decade, including at Luna Park Sydney and as a therapeutic clown specialising in dementia and aged care with Clown Doctors Australia.
She graduated from LASALLE College of the Arts in Singapore with an Honours degree in Musical Theatre and later trained at École Philippe Gaulier in France.
